Invisalign

Using clear, removable aligners as opposed to braces Invisalign is the clear, ‘invisible’ way to straighten your teeth. Dr Marshall is experienced in assessing if you are an eligible candidate for treatment and will be able to accurately gage the potential results and costs involved upon your initial assessment. Invisalign is an effective option for those with good jaw structure but poorly aligned teeth.

How it works

Invisalign works through a series of removable aligners that are designed to slowly guide your teeth into their optimal positions while you wear them. During regular visits to Marshall Orthodontics every 6-8 weeks you will be provided with your new set of around 4 aligners which are to be changed every 2 weeks. These regular check-ups are also a great opportunity for our team to assess your progress and make and required adjustments to your aligners.

As the aligners are removable, brushing, flossing, eating and drinking are no longer and issues for patients. Simply remove your aligner and eat, drink and clean your teeth as you normally would. During an average treatment plan a patient will be provided with between 18 and 30 aligners.

What are the benefits of Invisalign?

As Invisalign is virtually invisible it allows for patients to undergo treatment without attracting any unwanted attention. This is a great option for those people who have previously avoided more traditional orthodontic due to concerns about their aesthetic appearance.

As they can be easily removed Invisalign does not require any specific oral hygiene techniques or tools for brushing and flossing. Further, Invisalign treatment will not place any restriction on the types of food or dinks that you can consume.

If you feel that Invisalign may be the treatment option for you or a member of your family, contact Marshall Orthodontics to arrange an consultation and Invisalign assessment.

Invisalign Teen

Invisalign Teen includes all the benefits of standard Invisalign treatment however as a teenager we understand that due to multiple commitments and extra-curricular activities aligners can sometimes get misplaced, or damaged. For this reason, Marshall Orthodontics will provide you with up to six replacement aligners, free of charge to help account for any of these types of occurrences. Note that this is only available with Invisalign teen.
